I was hoping at least the weather would provide a challenge but it really doesn't. The ice and desert maps aren't really that fun. There really is no real challenge unless you play the jungle map. It gets very boring and tiresome when all you do is stare at the roads. Gameplay: You do the same things over and over again. There is people inside the vehicles but they don't say anything or do anything especially when you run into them, they don't even yell at you but just honk. Sound: Again generic car and truck sounds. The maps are also short when you look at it but when you play it, its OK to look around. The weather I like, but it changes rapidly quickly and doesn't effect your driving to much. All the cars and trucks mostly look the same. Graphics: There are pretty generic for a budget game. Over time the challenge gets tougher, tiresome, and boring as you progress. You haul all kinds of items in 3 kinds of environments: Ice, Jungle, and Desert.
I have to say that American Long Haul is far superior to Extreme Trucker.Įxtreme Trucker is a arcade style truck simulator.
I bought this game along with 18 Wheels Of Steel: American Long Haul. So-so truck game if your desperate to play it.
